Information Exchanges (trainings) offer 2 hours of Continuing Education Units for CNA's.

Please note that all Kenai Senior Center Trainings are held on the third Monday of each month unless otherwise stated.
All Tyotkas Elder Center trainings will be held on the first Thursday of the month unless otherwise stated.
All Soldotna Area Senior Citizens Peer Support Meetings/Trainings will be held on the second and last Tuesday of each month unless otherwise stated.

February 13, Community Schools class in collaboration with the Aging and Disability Resource Center. Do you have questions about resources in our community? Are you taking care of an aging friend, family member or loved one and want to know what might be available to you? Are you helping a person with a disability and don't know where to start in navigating the resources? We can help! Come to our class at the Soldotna Middle School from 6:00 to 7:30 pm and let us help answer your questions. There is no charge!

February 27, (delayed one week due to President's Day), Caregiver Information Exchange, "This Emotional Life: Facing Our Fears," PBS broadcast. Why do we have emotions that are obstacles to happiness such as anger, fear, anxiety and despair -- and what can we do to keep them under control? This training will help us learn to cope with problems like depression and anxiety and become more positive and reilient individuals. 1:00 - 3:00 pm, Kenai Senior Center.

March 13, Caregiver Peer Support Meeting. 1:00 - 3:00 pm, Soldotna Senior Center.
March 19, Caregiver Information Exchange, "Stroke Survivors: Taking Our Lives Back," Dani Kebschull, NFCSP. Featuring the experiences and advice of stroke survivors, caregivers, family, friends, doctors, and other health professionals. The DVD provides a formidable tool to help stroke survivors on their road to recovery. Both practical and inspiring, the message is one of hope as improvement is ongoing. 1:00 - 3:00 pm, Kenai Senior Center.
March 27, Caregiver Peer Support Meeting, 1:00 - 3:00 pm, Soldotna Senior Center.
March 27, Caregiver Information Exchange with Lee Coray at Tyotkas Elder Center. This will be a unique and unforgettable exchange of information on Forgiveness and Letting Go, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. A must for all who are experiencing "the problems of being human." Call NFCSP for more information.
